Dr. Francis Chan grew up in Richmond, BC and through his minor sports injuries, he developed a respect for the foot and ankle. He has continued to be involved with education, lecturing at the annual BCPMA conferences and lecturing to other health care providers.

Professional Experience
Prior to returning to British Columbia, Dr. Chan taught students at Western University of Health Sciences, College of Podiatric Medicine in Pomona, CA as an assistant professor. He also trained podiatric surgery residents at Riverside University Health Systems and Chino Valley Medical Center in foot and ankle surgery.
When he moved back to Metro Vancouver, he became an associate podiatrist at West Side Podiatry Clinic. In October 2018, he opened his clinic in Burnaby, BC.
