Diabetic Wound Care & Limb Salvage

Diabetes causes serious foot problems, such as diabetic foot wounds and infections. It is important to treat these problems as soon as possible. It is also important to have routine diabetic foot evaluations and preventative treatment. We follow the recommendations from the International Working Group of the Diabetic Foot guidelines.

Sports Medicine

Overuse injuries, foot pain, ankle sprains, tendon/ligament tears and sometimes broken bones unfortunately happen when playing sports.

Dr. Chan has experience in treating acute and chronic sports injuries. Our goal is to get you back out there safely.

Flat feet & Cavus Feet

We are born with different shapes of feet and our feet can become painful in certain areas depending on our foot type (including bunions).

Dr. Chan tailors treatment according to your foot type. This may include specific shoe characteristics, custom foot orthotics, braces and if needed, surgery.

Nail & Skin conditions

Nail and skin conditions, such as ingrown toenails, athlete’s foot and warts can be quite painful and bothersome. Treatment can be nerve-racking. Our clinic will try to make this process as comfortable for you as possible.

Foot & Ankle Surgery

Dr. Chan has experience operating on foot and ankle problems, from hammertoes to complex foot and ankle reconstructive surgery. We approach surgery carefully and openly with our patients. We will evaluate the benefits and risks closely with you, in order to decide whether surgery is right for you.
